Low Spirit co-founder William died Röttger

And again we reached a sad message: The co-founder of Low Spirit Recordings William Röttger died yesterday from cancer. We, the complete RauteMusik Team wish his family our deepest sympathy.

William Röttger war neben Westbam usw. einer der Namen, which one of the founders of the German “Techno scene” referred to. 1985 gründete er zusammen mit Maximilian Lenz, Fabian Lenz, Klaus Jankuhn und Sandra Molzahn das Label Low Spirit.

Under this label were other Marusha's cover version of Somewhere over the Rainbow and Sonic Empire releast of the Members of Mayday. Moreover Low Spirit was connected to the Love Parade organizer Loveparade GmbH and owner of Techno-event Mayday. However there was sold.

In The Year 2006 appeared with Below Bohemia Beat Bandit the last release under Low Spirit. 2007 the distribution of all plates was taken over by Kontor Records.

We would again like to express our condolences to the bereaved. William Röttger is smarter than a, sensitive, far forward-looking and polite person remembered!
