In our column "Flashback Friday" we look back to days gone by Trance. Today is about Quibble – Saltwater.

Chicane is not a person, but a music project in the field trance and ambient music producer Nick Bracegirdle of the English. Initial successes had Chicane 1996 with the single offshore. 1997 followed by the single Sunstroke, the first album (Far from the Maddening Crowds) and new versions of offshore.

1999 appeared the single Saltwater; a cover of 80s Hits Clannad Theme from Harry's Game. A really good track, pushes the well every time with enthusiasm at the audience, once you put on it. For the, who know him, of course a Classic – for others simply a beautiful track, to conjure with. In Summer 2008 followed by “Bruised Water” cooperation with Natasha Bedingfield, Natasha Bedingfield's a mashup of "I bruise easily" and Chicanes old hit "Salt Water". Also awesome (of course).

The Original Mix is nevertheless rich 9 Minute offer – but it is recommended, to place him at the beginning of a set … one day, because it is relatively slow, because you should not cut unnecessarily the beautiful intro. This track is almost a so-called “Must have” for every DJ. The vocals controls the way to Moya Brennan. Have fun while you listen:
